Roles & Responsibilities

• Release of Detailed Engineering drawing and Bill of Material for Air Pollution Control equipments such as Bagfilters, ESPs, RABH, Scrubbers, Etc. leading the team of Engineers/Draftmens.
• Design of above equipments as per IS,BS,ASME Codes based on requirements.
• Preparation of P & I diagrams and General Arrangement drawings.
• Responsible for Engineering of Bought out components and preparation of Bill of Materials and Technical offer evaluation.
• Lead the planning & implementation of engineering releases in line with Project requirements.
• Resources planning and allocation.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools & provide guidance and support to the Engg team
• Support Team members in Problem Solving
• Ensure right first time of engineering releases.
• Planning and implementation of improvement projects such as Opex, Ever lean, Design Cycle time reduction, Product & Component development etc.
• Co-ordination with Vendors, customer, consultants.
• Need base support to Pre-sales engg, site, QAC, Projects, Materials depts..
  

Critical Competencies

• Good Academics Background.
• Domain knowledge about Thermal & Mechanical Design of Air Pollution Control equipment , Material Handling Equipment’s, Process Equipment’s, Heat Exchangers, Boliers, Etc.
• Knowledge of Indiana and International Standards such as IS, BS, ASME Codes, etc.
• Knowledge of Engg Depts procedures and processes.
• Knowledge of quality management and standards
• Communication skills along with man-management skills.
• Ability to handle the consultants & customers queries, conflicts and complaints.
• Ability to assess risk & challenges and take proactive plans / actions to mitigate the same.
• Working Knowledge of ERP Systems.
