Job Summary:

We are looking for a well-groomed, friendly, and customer-focused Guest Relations Executive (GRE) to join our front-of-house team at our authentic Japanese restaurant in Bandra. The GRE will be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience by offering warm hospitality and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using the restaurant’s booking system.
• Maintain an accurate waitlist and manage guest expectations during busy periods.
• Coordinate with the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth guest flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, specials, and Japanese dining etiquette to assist guests when required.
• Upsell special menu items, beverages, or promotions where appropriate.
• Ensure guest preferences and special requests are noted and remembered for future visits.
• Assist in organizing private dining or special events, if needed.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and presentable at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles (restaurant/hotel experience preferred).
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and/or Marathi is a plus.
• A friendly, confident, and professional demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Well-groomed appearance with a customer-first attitude.
• Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
• Familiarity with Japanese culture or cuisine is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Knowledge of POS and reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, PetPooja, POSist, etc.)

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
