Role Description

OrbitalSling is seeking a Graphic Designer with a passion for creating visually compelling experiences to join our Bengaluru team. The selected candidate will conceptualize and execute visually striking content across digital and print media, translating brand identities into cohesive visual systems. This role requires a balance of traditional design principles, visual communication expertise, and proficiency with modern design tools and technologies.

We are looking for someone who approaches design as both a craft and a responsibility. This full-time office role is located near K R Puram and offers flexible work options including remote work to maintain work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging visual assets and design systems for digital platforms including social media, websites, and email campaigns
• Develop compelling print materials including brochures, banners, and promotional collateral with attention to production specifications
• Conceptualize and execute visual identities that align with brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
• Utilize AI tools for text-to-image (Imagen) and text-to-video (Flux) applications to generate innovative design solutions and accelerate workflows
• Enhance video projects using advanced editing tools like Fireflies for more dynamic visual storytelling
• Collaborate with marketing strategists, content creators, and video production teams to achieve cohesive visual communication across touchpoints
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining quality standards
• Iterate designs based on feedback and perform quality assurance on all visual deliverables
• Stay current with design trends, techniques, and best practices to continually elevate our creative output

Required Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of professional experience in graphic design with a diverse portfolio demonstrating strong visual communication skills across digital and print media
• Solid understanding of design fundamentals including typography, color theory, composition, layout design, and visual hierarchy
• Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate abstract ideas into engaging visual solutions
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
• Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated individual with a results-oriented mindset who takes ownership of their work

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Working knowledge of AI-driven design tools including text-to-image and text-to-video models
• Proficiency with modern video editing software and tools, including Fireflies
• Understanding of motion graphics, animation principles, and video editing techniques
• Knowledge of design for different platforms and media, including responsive design considerations
• Experience with photo retouching and image manipulation techniques
• Ability to prepare files for both digital implementation and print production
