Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership: Lead the design process for a diverse range of projects, including social media campaigns, website interfaces, digital ads, and video content. Ensure that all designs align with ILEM Japan's brand guidelines and creative vision.

Motion Graphics: Create engaging motion graphics, video animations, and video edits using After Effects to elevate the visual experience of online content.

Web Design: Collaborate with the development team to design user-centric websites, interfaces, and digital assets using Figma, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience across web and mobile platforms.

Graphic Design: Produce high-quality static and dynamic visuals (graphics, illustrations, banners) using Photoshop and Illustrator, for various digital platforms including social media, emails, and websites.

Creative Collaboration: Work closely with other creative team members, marketing, product, and content teams to ensure all visual assets reflect the latest trends and meet business objectives.

Project Ownership: Manage and execute design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely completion. Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Innovation and Trends: Stay on top of industry trends, emerging design tools, and best practices to continuously improve the team’s design quality and workflow.

Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, helping them grow their skills and ensuring design consistency across projects.

Stakeholder Presentation: Present design concepts and final deliverables to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback and ensuring that designs meet project goals and expectations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven Experience: 3 to 5 years as a designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in social media content creation, website design, motion graphics, and video editing.

Advanced Software Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).

UI/UX Design: Solid experience in designing interactive and user-friendly web interfaces using Figma.

Video Editing: Strong experience in video editing and motion graphics creation using After Effects, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.

Creative Vision: Strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and branding.

Digital Design Expertise: Knowledge of current digital design trends and techniques, with experience adapting designs for different platforms (social media, web, mobile).

Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and solve design challenges, proposing effective solutions within given timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

UI/UX Design: Familiarity with UI/UX principles and experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.

Web Development Knowledge: Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS or the ability to work closely with web developers to translate designs into live websites.

Additional Tools: Experience with other creative software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar tools) is a plus.
