Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Engineer (Product Design & Development) Location: Remote/Work from Home Type: Full-Time Start Date: Immediate Salary: Competitive/Negotiable The Role: We’re seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer who is passionate about design, innovation, and real-world problem-solving. Ideal candidates will have hands-on project experience such as Baja SAE, Formula SAE, or similar competitive engineering teams using software's such as SolidWorks, Ansys, Python, etc. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in concept-to-prototype development, testing, and production of mechanical systems and assemblies. Responsibilities: Support the mechanical design process from concept through prototyping and testing Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using tools like SolidWorks Assist in simulation and basic analysis (stress, thermal, motion) with guidance from senior engineers Help build and test prototypes, analyze results, and contribute to design iterations Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and documentation of design processes Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or expected by [Month Year]) Project Experience : Hands-on design, fabrication, or testing experience through Baja SAE, Formula SAE, robotics, or similar extracurriculars/internships Technical Skills : Familiarity with CAD (SolidWorks preferred), basic simulation tools (FEA or thermal), and prototyping methods (3D printing, machining, etc.) Passion for Climate Tech : Genuine interest in sustainability, climate solutions, or energy systems Collaboration & Communication : Willingness to learn in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly Initiative : Curiosity and drive to solve engineering challenges creatively and thoughtfully Why Join Mechapixel?
