Job Type: Full-Time Designation Grade: Mid-Senior *About the Role We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager Regulatory Affairs to lead regulatory compliance, licensing, and food safety functions across our nutraceuticals and food business. This role is critical to ensuring that our products and operations remain compliant with Indian and international regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in FSSAI regulations, Legal Metrology, quality control, and food safety frameworks, along with proven ability to manage licensing, audits, and stakeholder engagement with regulatory authorities. Key Roles and Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance Licensing Lead and manage all regulatory approvals, licensing, and registration activities across relevant authorities (FSSAI, Tea Board of India, MSME, Factory License, Trade License, etc.). Establish robust compliance frameworks and systems for reporting (e.g., Whistleblower avenues). Ensure up-to-date renewals and compliance for all business licenses across group companies and associates. Continuously monitor, interpret, and implement changes to food regulations (especially FSSAI updates). Ensure full compliance with FSSAI and Legal Metrology standards across all products and packaging. Provide proactive advice on regulatory matters covering Health, Safety, Environment, Food Safety, Pollution Control, Customs, and Product Liability. Stakeholder Management Coordination Build and manage effective engagement with central/state authorities and external stakeholders. Liaise with regulatory bodies, consultants, and local agencies for licensing processes, issue resolution, and regulatory implementations. Maintain complete documentation to ensure readiness for inspections and reviews. Quality Control Food Safety Work with QC teams to ensure internal and external testing complies with FSSR and international standards. Lead regulatory and food safety activities for both India and export markets. Drive resolution of product safety issues and consumer complaints through testing, analysis, and corrective actions. Product Labelling Trademark Compliance Validate product labelling for compliance with Indian and international standards (FSSAI, USFDA, EU). Collaborate with marketing and design teams on packaging artwork and labelling approvals. Manage barcode databases and ensure labelling readiness for retail and export. Coordinate with agencies for trademarks, renewals, and oppositions; provide documentation for legal matters. Regulatory Audits Develop and execute compliance audit plans (quarterly/half-yearly) at plant, warehouse, and retail levels. Conduct internal and external audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. Maintain compliance trackers and provide regular updates to leadership. Collaborate with HODs and external auditors for statutory and regulatory compliance. Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or Nutraceuticals (Mandatory) Master s Degree in Nutraceuticals (Preferred) In-depth knowledge of Nutraceutical NPD, Regulatory Affairs, FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and international food regulations Strong documentation, audit, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work cross-functionally with QC, RD, and Marketing -Apply Here-
