Min Experience: 10 yearsLocation: NCRJobType: full-timeWe are looking for a senior-level Government Sales Representative with 10+ years of proven experience driving large-scale technology solution sales to public sector clients. This role requires deep expertise in Intelligent Traffic Management Systems (ITMS), Adaptive Traffic Management Systems (ATMS), Safe City, and Smart City initiatives, along with strong relationships across municipal corporations, traffic police departments, and government agencies. The individual will be responsible for positioning and selling next-generation traffic management solutions to key government stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and sales for advanced traffic management solutions across government agencies, municipalities, and traffic police departments.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers (Commissioners, Municipal Boards, Police Departments, Smart City CEOs) to align with city-wide modernization programs.
  • Leverage relationships with system integrators, camera vendors, signaling solution providers, and technology partners to accelerate deal closures.
  • Track, analyze, and respond to tenders, RFPs, and government schemes (Safe City, Smart City, NHAI initiatives, MoHUA programs).
  • Drive account strategies to secure large, multi-year projects, engaging with IT and non-IT stakeholders (urban planners, transport departments, law enforcement).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, marketing) to build tailored proposals, demonstrations, and business cases for government buyers.
  • Represent the organization at government forums, Smart City expos, Safe City summits, and policy roundtables to strengthen visibility and influence.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of sales/business development experience with government technology projects, preferably in traffic management, surveillance, or smart city domains.
  • Strong domain knowledge in ITMS, ATMS, adaptive signaling, surveillance/camera integration, and Safe City project workflows.
  • Direct experience working with or selling into municipal corporations, traffic police, or urban development authorities.
  • Proven success managing large government accounts (₹50+ crore scale projects preferred).
  • Familiarity with procurement models such as QCBS, L1, EPC, BOT, and expertise navigating complex tendering processes.
  • Strong industry network with public sector consultants, EPC contractors, and system integrators.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience with ITMS/ATMS or Safe City solution providers (signaling companies, surveillance/camera firms, large system integrators).
  • Exposure to government-funded projects like Smart City Mission, Safe City Projects (MHA), NHAI, or urban mobility programs.
  • Technical awareness of GIS-based traffic solutions, IoT, and cloud-enabled platforms is an added advantage.
