Google Cloud Architect (Presales)

As a GCP Presales Engineer, you will be the bridge between our sales team and our clients' technical stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor from the initial conversation to the final proposal. You will leverage your deep GCP expertise and business acumen to design innovative solutions, build client confidence, and drive successful engagements that showcase the best of Google Cloud.

What Experience is Mandatory:

• Proven Presales Experience: 5+ years in a technical role, with at least 3+ years in a direct presales, solutions architect, or sales engineering capacity focused on cloud technologies.
• Deep Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expertise: Hands-on, architectural knowledge across core GCP domains, including Compute (GCE, GKE), Networking (VPC, Cloud DNS, Interconnect), Storage (Cloud Storage, Filestore), Databases (Cloud SQL, Spanner), and Security (IAM, Security Command Center, IAP).
• Architectural Design & Solutioning: Proven ability to design and architect robust, scalable, and secure solutions on GCP that meet specific client business requirements.
• Exceptional Client-Facing Skills: World-class presentation and communication skills, with experience leading technical workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and product demonstrations for audiences ranging from engineers to C-level executives.
• Technical Proposal & RFP Experience: Demonstrated experience in writing detailed technical responses to proposals (RFPs, RFIs) and creating comprehensive solution design documents.
• Mandatory Certification: Must hold the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.

What Experience is Beneficial (but Optional):

• Multi-Cloud Knowledge: Experience with other major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to assist with competitive analysis and migration strategies.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Terraform for creating proof-of-concept environments and solution templates.
• Data & AI/ML Services: Working knowledge of GCP's data analytics and AI/ML services (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow).
• Specialized Certifications: Additional GCP certifications such as Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
