Role Overview


Golang Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, test, and maintain

    microservices

    in Go.
  • Design and implement

    GraphQL schemas

    , resolvers, and query optimizations.
  • Integrate Go services with databases (SQL/NoSQL), message queues, and third-party APIs.
  • Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Perform code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize for scale.
  • Collaborate with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years

    of professional experience in

    Go (Golang)

    development.

  • Strong GraphQL

    experience: schema design, resolver implementation, query performance tuning.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and ORMs (GORM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of concurrency patterns and memory management in Go.
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to gRPC or WebSockets.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Previous work on high-traffic, distributed systems.
  • Certifications in Go or cloud technologies is a plus.
