GM - Sales and Marketing

Role Overview: As the General Manager in the Marketing department at Sriperumbudur, Chennai, your main responsibility will be to lead and strategize the marketing efforts of the company. You will be managing a team of 10+ members and driving business growth through new client acquisitions, product development, and global market expansion. Your role will also involve overseeing sales operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong communication channels with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the Annual Business Plan aligning with the company's strategic goals - Lead a team of 10+ members across international and domestic marketing and sales functions - Identify and acquire new clients through networking and business development activities - Explore and propose new products or solutions in collaboration with management and engineering teams - Manage marketing efforts in domestic and export markets, focusing on global presence - Ensure compliance with export and import regulations and commercial terms - Review estimations prepared by marketing/engineering teams and present for approval - Attend Techno-commercial meetings with clients and follow up to secure orders - Report regularly to the Board of Directors on performance, market trends, and initiatives - Present the annual marketing and sales strategy to the BOD for approval - Maintain excellent communication channels with internal and external stakeholders Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering - Qualification in Business Management is highly desirable - Minimum of 20 years of experience with exposure to the export market - Experience in Sales & Marketing of Static Equipment for Oil & Gas industry - Experience in leading and managing a team of at least 10 members - In-depth knowledge of commercial terms, export & import regulations - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - Excellent communication skills and a pleasing personality,
