Role Overview

General Manager – Marketing & Sales

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving growth, building long-term customer relationships, and expanding our global footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute

    domestic and international marketing strategies

    to achieve sustainable business growth.
  • Own the

    end-to-end sales cycle

    : lead generation, RFQ evaluation, costing & estimation, proposal preparation, negotiations, and order closure.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with

    key OEM customers

    including TAFE, Caterpillar, Komatsu, KONE, Siemens, Ashok Leyland, and others.
  • Lead

    estimation and costing

    activities for precision machined components and new project developments.
  • Conduct

    market research, competitor analysis

    , and identify new business and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with

    Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain

    teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to

    strategic planning

    , including revenue targets, capacity expansion, technology upgrades, and market diversification.
  • Ensure

    pricing accuracy, margin optimization

    , and long-term profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.E

    /

    B.Tech

    in Mechanical or Production Engineering (MBA in Marketing is an added advantage)
  • 15–20 years of experience

    in marketing, sales, or business development within

    precision machining, auto components, or heavy engineering

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    machining processes, engineering drawings, costing methodologies

    , and

    OEM

    supply-chain

    requirements

    .
  • Proven experience managing

    large domestic and international OEM accounts

    .
  • Excellent

    communication, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management

    skills.
  • Willingness to travel

    within India and internationally

    as required.
