Job Description

A leading capital equipment manufacturing client of ours is looking for a Global Business Head-Industrial Application & Systems. Job Location-Bangalore. Experience : 25-30 years.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Growth

  • Own P&L responsibility, Define and implement

    business strategy

    aligned with long-term organizational vision.
  • Identify and develop new

    markets, customers, and application segments.

  • Drive

    top-line growth, profitability, and market competitiveness

    globally.

Sales, Marketing & Customer Engagement

  • Lead

    global sales and business development

    activities, ensuring strong customer acquisition and retention.
  • Develop and execute

    pricing strategy, value-based selling models, and proposal frameworks

    .
  • Build and manage

    strategic partnerships, alliances, and OEM relationships

    .
  • Engage with

    C-level executives and decision-makers

    at global customer organizations.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead

    high-performance cross-functional teams

    across sales, marketing, proposals, and service.
  • Foster a culture of

    customer-centricity, accountability, and innovation

    .
  • Drive cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing across global operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure excellence in

    proposal management, bid support, and contract negotiations

    .
  • Establish systems for

    competitive analysis, benchmarking, and market intelligence

    .
  • Drive process improvements in

    business operations, CRM, and performance tracking

    .
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, governance, and ethical business practices.

  • Proven track record

    of

    P&L leadership, global business development, and large-scale customer management

    .
  • Strong experience in

    sales strategy, proposal management, pricing, and commercial negotiations

    .
  • Prior leadership of

    multi-regional/global teams

    and experience working with EPCs, OEMs, and large end-users.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to engage global stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive

    both growth and profitability
