Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Ideation: Identify and conceptualize strategic opportunities to enhance the performance and efficiency of sales teams and overall business operations. Develop detailed business cases with ROI analysis for proposed initiatives to drive informed decision-making. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and competitive practices to fuel innovation and inform strategy. Ensure alignment of all initiatives with the companys long-term vision, goals, and strategic priorities. Project Design and Execution: Lead and oversee the execution of strategic projects, ensuring delivery within timelines, scope, and budget. Define clear project objectives, deliverables, and KPIs for each initiative. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, marketing, IT, and finance, for seamless project execution. Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and proactively resolve challenges. Channel Management Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize channel effectiveness, ensuring better distribution and product availability. Analyze current channel structures to identify opportunities for improvement, such as cost reduction, enhanced reach, and increased customer engagement. Establish frameworks to monitor and adapt channel performance in dynamic market conditions. Inventory Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline inventory management processes, balancing supply and demand efficiently. Work with supply chain teams to implement data-driven forecasting and replenishment strategies to minimize disruptions. Address issues related to stock-outs and overstock scenarios to maintain smooth sales operations. Sales Efficiency and Automation: Drive the adoption of automation technologies to improve sales processes and increase productivity. Partner with IT teams to develop digital solutions like CRM enhancements, sales performance dashboards, and mobile applications. Equip sales teams with real-time data insights to support informed decision-making. Introduce and manage training programs to ensure sales teams effectively leverage new tools and systems. Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on key initiatives affecting sales operations and business performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and secure buy-in for strategic projects. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers, analysts, and other professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Communicate progress, results, and key learnings from initiatives to leadership and stakeholders. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish frameworks to evaluate the success of strategic initiatives, including their financial impact and operational improvements. Regularly review performance data and identify opportunities for ongoing enhancement. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making. Strategic Leadership & Data Analytics: Develop and implement a long-term data strategy aligned with the companys business goals. Foster a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy across the organization and encouraging data-informed decision-making. Lead a team of data analysts and scientists, ensuring collaboration with stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations, and R&D to translate data insights into actionable business strategies. Use advanced analytics tools to uncover trends and insights that enhance business operations and sales performance. Data Analytics and Insights: Oversee the MIS team to ensure smooth operations and accurate data collection from various sources (CRM systems, sales reports, field force reports). Utilize advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis to extract valuable insights. Develop interactive data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Create and maintain a business intelligence platform to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and lifetime value to identify opportunities for targeted marketing campaigns and retention strategies. Lead the analysis of sales performance, territory optimization, and sales force effectiveness to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize campaign performance and marketing channels. Qualification, Experience, and Skill Set: Education: Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field. Industry Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in data analytics, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Technical Skills: Expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R). Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including sales, marketing, and operations. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative, data-driven solutions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex insights in a clear and compelling manner. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, align data initiatives with business goals, and drive organizational change.
