General Manager - Service

We are looking for a General Manager - Service

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall Service Operations: Managing the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
• Customer Service: Ensuring excellent customer service and resolving escalated customer issues.
• Staff Management: Hiring, training, and motivating service staff, including technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
• Performance Management: Setting performance goals, monitoring performance, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Inventory Management: Managing parts inventory and ensuring efficient parts ordering and receiving processes.
• Financial Management: Managing the service department's budget, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience: Typically requires 10+ years of experience in the automobile service industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
• Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and make sound business decisions.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
• Knowledge of the Automobile Industry: Familiarity with the automotive industry, including manufacturer guidelines and industry regulations.
