Job Description

Customer Service:
Schedule and manage vehicle maintenance/repair.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, warranty repairs.
Diagnostics & Repairs:
GM-certified technicians use factory tools/software.
Warranty Processing:
Handle GM factory recalls and warranty claims.
Upselling & Retention:
Promote maintenance packages, keep customers loyal to the dealership.
Role & responsibilities

Supervise technicians, advisors, and service writers.
Ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently.
Maintain customer satisfaction (CSI scores).
Manage service department financial performance.
Coordinate with GM for training, warranty reimbursements, and recalls.

General Manager role in the dealership (covering service too)

Oversee the entire dealership (sales, service, parts, finance).
Ensure profitability and growth.
Hire, train, and manage staff across departments.
Drive customer retention across sales and service.
Report to ownership or corporate GM structure.
