Job Description

General Manager Sales (Commercial Vehicle Division)

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and customer segments.
Drive product penetration and market expansion across regions.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Lead, mentor, and motivate a large sales team, ensuring strong performance and capability development.
Set clear sales targets and monitor performance through regular reviews.
Foster a high-performance culture within the team.

Dealer & Channel Management

Manage dealer networks, ensure strong dealer relationships, and enhance overall channel performance.
Review dealer ROI, business planning, and operational effectiveness.
Support dealer onboarding, training, and compliance.

Customer Relationship Management

Oversee key accounts, fleet customers, and government/enterprise clients.
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Lead negotiations for high-value deals and long-term partnerships.

P&L and Operational Management

Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimization for the sales division.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and MIS reporting.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, statutory norms, and quality standards.

Key Requirements:

20+ years of experience
in Commercial Vehicle sales within the automobile industry.
Proven track record of leading large teams and achieving sales targets.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, dealer operations, and fleet business.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
MBA in Sales/Marketing or relevant specialization is preferred.
