Role Overview
The General Manager – Operations is responsible for leading and managing the overall operational performance of the organization. This role ensures smooth execution of daily activities, drives process improvements, optimizes resources, and ensures high service delivery standards. The GM – Operations will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee staff performance, and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee end-to-end operational activities and ensure efficiency across departments.
· Develop and implement operational policies, and best practices.
· Lead, mentor, and supervise staff to ensure productivity and team performance.
· Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
· Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
· Handle budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
· Identify process gaps and initiate corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations, and safety protocols.
· Conduct regular review meetings with department heads.
· Prepare operational reports and present performance insights to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospital administration or related field.
· Proven experience in operations leadership or management roles.
· Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and people management abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
