General Manager – Hotel Breezeland

Location: Changanassery, Kerala
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 10+ years in Hotel Operations / Hospitality Management

About the Role

Hotel Breezeland is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the Rooms Division, Banquet Operations, and Food & Beverage Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and consistent revenue growth across all hotel departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hotel Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and F&B departments.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between rooms, banquets, and restaurant teams for seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and hospitality across all touchpoints.
  • Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally to drive repeat business and positive reviews.

2. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Drive room sales, banquet bookings, and overall food and beverage revenue.
  • Plan and execute promotions, corporate tie-ups, and local partnerships to increase occupancy and F&B footfall.
  • Monitor daily sales, budgets, and profit margins to meet monthly and annual targets.
  • Work closely with the Accounts and Marketing teams to track performance and optimize pricing strategies.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, motivate, and train department heads and operational staff for consistent performance.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review targets, challenges, and action plans.
  • Foster a professional, disciplined, and service-oriented team culture.

4. Administration & Reporting

  • Manage inventory control, purchase approvals, and cost optimization across departments.
  • Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, statutory regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
