General Manager

As a General Manager in the feldspar minerals industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of the business, focusing on procurement, sales, and factory management. Your primary tasks will include identifying reliable sources of raw materials, negotiating procurement contracts, developing sales strategies, managing factory operations, and leading a team of professionals. You will need to have a strong background in mineral procurement, sales, and operations management, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and develop reliable sources of feldspar raw material from mines. - Negotiate procurement contracts to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. - Develop and execute sales strategies to grow domestic and export markets. - Oversee daily operations of the processing plant ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality. - Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts. - Lead and mentor procurement, sales, and factory teams. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the minerals or mining industry, preferably with feldspar or similar industrial minerals. - B.Sc./M.Sc. in Geology, Mining, or related fields; MBA is a plus. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. - Ability to travel frequently to mines, customer sites, and factory locations. - Excellent communication skills in English and local languages. The company is looking for a candidate with proven experience in mineral procurement, sales, and factory operations. It is preferred that you have a network of buyers in ceramics, glass, and paints industry and an understanding of quality parameters specific to feldspar. Familiarity with export logistics and international trade compliance is also beneficial. Please note that the job is full-time and permanent, with day shift and weekend availability. The work location is in person at Pindwara, Rajasthan, and the candidate should be willing to relocate if necessary. The willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is preferred.
