General Manager-Constructions

Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned General Manager – Construction & Civil to lead and manage end-to-end construction operations for a reputed real estate company in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in real estate project execution, civil engineering, and construction management, with a proven ability to deliver residential/commercial projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring timely execution of projects as per approved drawings and quality standards.
• Lead and manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and handle any issues or delays promptly.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.
• Review and approve construction plans, BOQs, tenders, and vendor negotiations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Manage cost controls, material procurement, and vendor management.
• Prepare and present progress reports and MIS to senior management.
• Drive operational excellence and process improvement in construction activities.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12–18 years of experience in real estate construction, especially in residential and/or commercial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction techniques, structural design, and project management.
• Hands-on experience in managing multiple construction sites simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other construction/project management tools.
• Knowledge of local by-laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
