Job Description

As a Construction Manager for a hospital facility, your role will involve overseeing the construction of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems as well as Civil works. You should have a strong background in managing large-scale hospital construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget while meeting quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the construction process, aligning MEP and Civil works with project timelines, quality standards, and budget. - Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate MEP systems with civil works. - Develop and review project schedules, progress reports, ensuring smooth coordination between MEP and Civil teams. - Supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications. - Monitor progress of MEP and Civil work, addressing any issues or delays promptly. - Ensure construction work meets required standards and specifications for MEP systems and civil structures. - Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure adherence to safety guidelines. - Monitor project budget for MEP and Civil works, ensuring expenses remain within approved limits. - Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders. - Facilitate communication between internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. - Ensure all construction activities comply with legal, environmental, and safety regulations. - Maintain detailed records of construction activities, contracts, progress reports, and change orders. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field). - Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in managing large-scale hospital construction projects, focusing on MEP and Civil works. - Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, MEP systems, civil works, and building codes/regulations. - Project Management: Proven experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. - Leadership Skills: Ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure smooth coordination across departments. - Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is preferred. - Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
