Job Description

General Manager

You will work closely with global OEMs and Tier-1 Suppliers, mentor technical teams and be accountable for delivering high-quality embedded solutions in line with safety and process compliance. You will closely collaborate with the Sales team to provide leadership for opening new accounts and growing existing accounts globally.


Key Responsibilities:


Solution Architecture & Design


  • Lead end-to-end architecture for Body Electronics, BCMs, Power Electronics, EV subsystems.
  • Define and Architect Solutions for AUTOSAR-based ECUs (Classic & Adaptive).
  • Ensure reusability, scalability, and modularity in design using MBD and embedded platforms.


Technical Leadership


  • Guide cross-functional teams across software, hardware, systems, and validation.
  • Drive technical reviews, feasibility assessments and effort estimations.
  • Drive Technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.


Delivery Management


  • Ensure timely delivery of projects with a strong focus on quality, performance, and ASPICE compliance.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and quality teams for risk management, milestone tracking and budget management.
  • Enable defect-free deliveries through robust validation and verification processes.


Process & Compliance


  • Lead and enforce processes aligned with ASPICE Level 2/3 and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
  • Ensure security-by-design practices in alignment with ISO/SAE 21434.


Innovation & Strategy


  • Contribute to technology roadmap for next-gen automotive platforms including EVs and connected mobility.
  • Stay updated with industry trends in SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle), OTA, and AI/ML in automotive.


People Development


  • Mentor engineers and technical leads for competency building.
  • Build and nurture a culture of engineering excellence and accountability.


Required Qualifications And Skills


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of experience in embedded software and system development for automotive ECUs.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in:
  • AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive)
  • Model-Based Development
  • Body Control Modules / Powertrain / EV systems
  • Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
  • Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434)
  • ASPICE, Agile processes
  • Proficient in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, CAN, UDS, Ethernet, Diagnostics, Enterprise Architect and MCAL stack.
  • Exposure to ECU integration, validation and end-of-line testing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with global automotive OEMs and Tier-1s.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and agile delivery mindset.
  • Certifications in Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, or Project Management (PMP, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
