Job Description

We are looking for a committed and experienced professional to join our team and lead our gender programs. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about feminist values and grounded in community-based work.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct gender analysis of programs to support program planning and delivery.
  • Interact closely with communities, local government, and partner organizations to promote gender-sensitive approaches.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops on gender, rights, and related themes.
  • Track program outcomes, contribute to monitoring and evaluation, and support learning.
  • Convene and facilitate regular team meetings to track program implementation, progress and challenges.
  • Coordinate with donors and partners on project planning, reporting, and communication requirements.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditure to ensure alignment with approved plans.
  • Lead documentation efforts and prepare timely narrative and financial reports.
  • Support ongoing monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) processes, and adapt strategies based on findings.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related discipline.At least 5 years of relevant experience, including managing teams and gender-focused programs.Strong field orientation and willingness to travel regularly to rural areas.

Key Skills And Competencies

  • Solid understanding of gender, VAW, and public health issues, with the ability to write conceptually.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Good written communication and documentation skills in English.
  • Ability to use digital tools and media for communication and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Gujarati is an advantage.
