Role Overview
The Fundraising Coordinator will support Sol s ARC s resource mobilization efforts by coordinating donor engagement, managing fundraising operations, and supporting the development of proposals, reports, and communication materials. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for building relationships that advance social impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Donor Engagement & Relationship Management
Support regular communication with existing donors (both Indian and international).
Coordinate donor meetings, visits, and events; prepare background briefs and presentations.
Maintain and update donor records, contact databases, and engagement trackers.
2. Fundraising Operations
Support the fundraising team in mapping potential new donors (CSR, philanthropy, foundations, HNIs).
Track proposals and reporting timelines to ensure compliance with donor requirements.
Assist in preparing due diligence documents, budgets, and supporting annexures for funding proposals.
3. Proposal Development & Reporting
Assist in drafting and formatting grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.
Coordinate inputs from program, finance, and communications teams to ensure timely submission.
Support the development of donor-specific presentations, decks, and updates.
4. Knowledge Management & Research
Maintain repository of proposals, reports, and donor communications.
Conduct desk research on new funding opportunities, sector trends, and donor priorities.
Track fundraising metrics and generate periodic reports for leadership review.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business, or related field
2 4 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, donor management, or related functions in the social sector.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to draft proposals and reports.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
Comfort in working with cross-functional teams (program, finance, communications).
Knowledge of CSR ecosystem, donor reporting requirements, and compliance frameworks (FCRA, 80G, CSR-1) is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with donor management tools/CRMs preferred.

95% of donor queries/emails responded to within 3 working days.

Ensure at least 90% of existing donor reporting/updates are delivered on or before agreed deadlines.

2. Fundraising Operations
Proposal Pipeline Tracking:
Maintain tracker with 100% active proposals updated monthly.
Donor Meeting Coordination:
Support at least 1 2 donor interactions/meetings per month.
Internal Coordination:
Collate program/finance inputs for proposals & reports within agreed timelines 90% of the time.
3. Proposal Development & Reporting
