Fundraising Coordinator

The Fundraising Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and impact of the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS). You will work closely with CWS senior staff to craft compelling grant proposals, establish and nurture CSR partnerships, and identify innovative fundraising opportunities. Your role will involve ongoing interaction with all teams across CWS, ensuring seamless communication and a unified approach to achieving our mission. Your efforts as a Fundraising Coordinator are essential in expanding CWS's reach and strengthening its vital conservation programs. Your key responsibilities will include assisting the Managers and senior team in funding and funding-related outreach work at CWS. You will develop and write proposals for any CWS programs and projects, coordinating with CWS staff involved in planning, writing, and editing proposals. It will be important to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all submissions, grant-funded projects, and donors in relevant databases, and filing systems in coordination with the CWS accounts team. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying new funding opportunities, finding opportunities for Retail Funding, and managing retail/crowdfunding platforms like Give India. As a Fundraising Coordinator, you will also need to maintain donor databases for all fundraising activities, ensuring timely submissions and contractual obligations. Managing and coordinating fundraising campaigns and events with crowdfunding platforms will be part of your responsibilities. You will need to submit donor reports that meet requirements and contractual obligations, ensuring that they are of a high standard and submitted on time. Managing Donor management platforms like ERPNext/Salesforce NPSP/Zoho will also be expected in this role. This position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record of writing successful proposals for research and conservation programs, preferably in the wildlife and environment sector. You should have at least 6 years of experience in fundraising with a proven record of fundraising. Experience and familiarity with CSR networks and funding opportunities in India are essential. Excellent writing and research skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently are required. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills, both spoken and written (preferably English), along with strong interpersonal skills are important. Proficiency in office tools like Google Workspace, spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel, along with strong communication, storytelling, and presentation capabilities, as well as comfort with technology usage and products, are necessary for success in this role.,
