Key Responsibilities

·       Work with the Founder to shape clear funding asks, pricing, and partnership structures

·       Track fundraising progress, timelines, renewals, and reporting commitments

o   paid engagements

o   funded collaborations

o   long-term institutional relationships

with clear partnership or fundraising intent

What Success Looks Like

At 6–9 months:

·       A visible and active pipeline of institutional funders and partners

·       At least 2–3 repeat or retainer-style relationships under development or secured

At 12 months:

·       ₹50L–₹1Cr in committed funding

·       Improved revenue predictability for Pacta’s core work

·

What We’re Looking For

We believe this role is well suited for professionals resuming careers after a break/ lawyer looking to switch from lawyering roles/ academics looking to break out of academia.

·       ~7 years of experience in partnerships, fundraising, ecosystem building, communications or related roles

·       Strong understanding of the non-profit, philanthropy, academic, justice or social innovation ecosystems in India

·       Exceptional relationship-building skills; ability to engage with diverse stakeholders—from researchers to funders to grassroots non-profits

·       Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and storytelling

·       Comfort with ambiguity, systems thinking, and reflective practice

·       Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate with partners and funders

• Success in securing grants, contracts, or major donations from institutional and HNI donors
