Funding Operations Manager

Location: Mohali / Chandigarh, India

Shift: Nighttime (U.S. Hours – 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Funding Operations Manager to oversee the full funding workflow for our U.S. solar business — from project QC through milestone tracking and lender submissions.

You’ll lead the funding team, ensure packet accuracy, manage lender portals, and coordinate with accounting and operations to maintain perfect documentation and payout timelines.

This role demands high comprehension, extreme accuracy, and leadership discipline. You’ll work closely with the U.S. finance and ops teams to make sure every project meets funding requirements on the first submission.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end funding processes — including QC, documentation, packet creation, and lender portal submissions.

Ensure all required project milestones (M1–M3) are verified, documented, and ready for funding.

Maintain funding trackers and dashboards in Google Sheets / Data Studio for real-time visibility.

Review and approve packets before submission; ensure 100% accuracy in names, amounts, and documents.

Communicate directly with U.S. operations and finance to confirm readiness and resolve discrepancies.

Track payment status, fund releases, and lender timelines daily.

Audit submissions and identify recurring errors to drive process improvements.

Document and update SOPs for every funding partner and internal stage.

Train and mentor funding specialists to maintain accuracy and speed.

Work closely with Supply Chain, Project Management, and Accounting to verify costs and payouts.

Coordinate with IT/CRM team to automate funding milestone triggers and reporting.

Requirements

Proven experience leading small-to-mid teams in high-volume documentation environments.

Deep understanding of funding workflows, QC processes, and milestone-based payments.

Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (formulas, data validation, pivot tables, dashboards).

Strong attention to detail, accountability, and organizational skills.

Analytical thinker - able to identify process gaps and build long-term solutions.
