Job Description

As a Manager at our Gurgaon-based leading Recruitment Partner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing fund accounting and related financial services, with a specific focus on Private Equity Fund accounting. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and mentoring a team of fund accountants - Reviewing and signing off on Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements, and associated reports - Valuing portfolio holdings - Reviewing and approving fund valuations, reconciliations, audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance reports - Developing and implementing robust accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as fund managers, investors, auditors, tax advisors, administrators, and custodians - Providing technical guidance and support on complex accounting and reporting matters like fair value measurement, consolidation, and allocation Qualifications required for this role include: - A CA or CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification - A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in fund accounting or related financial services, specifically in Private Equity Fund accounting - Experience managing and/or leading large teams for 2-3 years Your skills should encompass: - Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and mentor professionals - Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement - An innovative mindset for leading process improvements and automation solutions - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role include: - Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume tasks accurately - Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines - Proficiency in data entry and report generation - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and ownership of tasks - Familiarity with financial systems and processes is an asset We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices and encourage applications from all qualified individuals.,
