Job Description

 
  • Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

    1. Provide daily functional support for Oracle Financials modules (e.g., General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Subledger Accounting (SLA), and E-Business Tax (EBTax)).
    2. Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, data issues, configuration errors, and process failures in a timely manner according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    3. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose permanent fixes to prevent future problems.
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance:

    1. Monitor scheduled jobs, interfaces, and reconciliations, and ensure smooth integration between Oracle Financials and third-party systems.
    2. Support finance teams during period-end closing procedures (month-end, quarter-end, year-end), ensuring timely completion and accurate reconciliations.
    3. Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, including performing regression testing and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Configuration & Enhancement:

    1. Analyze business requirements for minor enhancements and implement configuration changes within the Oracle system.
    2. Collaborate with technical teams to develop functional specifications for reports, integrations, conversions, and extensions (RICEW).
  • User Support & Documentation:

    1. Respond to user queries, provide guidance on application functionality, to ensure effective utilization of the system.
    2. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, support procedures, functional designs, and user guides.
    3. Preparation of solution documentation (AN100 / CM030 / AN040 / MD050, etc).
  • Compliance & Governance:

    1. Ensure financial data accuracy, SOX compliance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting principles.
    2. Log and manage Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle support and coordinate with DBA and infrastructure teams to resolve critical issues.

Technical skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of core Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM).
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), or Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) is a plus.
  • Experience with incident management/ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).

About you:

  • Education:

    Bachelor s/master s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Overall, 6 to 9 years experience in an Oracle Financials support or functional consultant role, with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financial modules.
