Functional Consultant- Indian Payroll- HRMS

Role Description

A functional consultant manages a very critical part of the customer engagement process for EmployWise™. Our Functional Consultant (FC) supports sales by engaging with a prospective customer in mapping customer HR processes to our product and sizing customisation and implementation effort.

Once the Customer signs-up, this role takes ownership of delivering a successful and timely implementation of the modules assigned to the FC. The work involves close working with the key HR team of the customer organisation in the automation of the HR function and introduction of employee self-service for HR. Within the organisation, this role works in tandem with the Sales, Product Engineering and Customer Support teams.

Key Role Activities

Your role as a Functional Consultant will include the following activities:

• Understand and documenting the customer’s processes and requirements and translate these into product configuration specifications
• Identifying and addressing process-product gaps through customer process change, workaround configurations and in some cases product customizations.
• Configuring the customer’s EmployWise modules as per the agreed business rules.
• Assisting customers in data migration with advanced spreadsheet skills and SQL query writing for databases

Skills and Experience

• 1+ year of experience preferred in a client-facing role.
• 2+ years of experience in HRMS implementation and configuration, with solid knowledge of Indian payroll.
