Fullstack developer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 4-8 LPA)

Node.js, React.js, REST APIs, and MongoDB

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end web applications with a strong focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
• Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.js, integrating seamlessly with backend APIs.
• Design, develop, and optimize database schemas and queries using MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices and modern development standards.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers when needed.
• Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications across devices and browsers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify technical improvements and propose solutions that contribute to product and process enhancements.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a full stack developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, both on the client and server sides.
• In-depth knowledge of Node.js, including Express.js, middleware, and asynchronous programming.
• Proven experience building user interfaces using React.js, React Hooks, and component lifecycle management.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid experience working with MongoDB, including data modeling, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and unit/integration testing.
• Understanding of modern development workflows, design patterns, and architecture principles (MVC, microservices, etc.).
• Ability to debug complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance across the stack.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools.
• Experience working in startup or product-driven environments.
