Experience: 6–8 years

About the Role

We’re looking for a Node.js-first Full Stack Engineer who can architect, build, and optimize the backend services powering Blostem’s fintech infrastructure.

React experience is useful for dashboards, but your primary strength must be backend engineering + AWS + databases.

Key Responsibilities

Backend & System Engineering (Primary focus)

• Architect and develop backend services using Node.js (Express/Nest.js).
• Build scalable APIs, partner integrations, and distributed services.
• Implement workers, queues, schedulers, and async service flows.
• Write efficient, modular, testable backend code.

Cloud & Infrastructure (High importance)

• Work across AWS services — Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM.
• Optimize services for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Handle deployments, monitoring, and logging end-to-end.

Database Engineering (High importance)

• Design schemas in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (Mongo/Dynamo).
• Write optimized queries, indexes, caching strategies.
• Understand transactions, consistency, and scaling patterns.

Frontend Engineering

• Build/maintain React.js dashboards & internal tools.
• Integrate backend flows into clean and reliable UI components.
• Follow good UX, API, and state management practices.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of hands-on full stack experience.
• Strong Node.js engineering — architecture, service design, async patterns.
• Good AWS fundamentals (Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Strong database knowledge (SQL or NoSQL).
• Experience building & maintaining production-grade systems.
• Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs and external systems.
• Understanding of authentication, security and error handling.

Nice-to-Have

• React.js for dashboards (not the primary role)
• TypeScript
• Docker / CI/CD pipelines
• Fintech/BFSI background
• Experience with microservices & event-driven systems
