About the Role
As a Full Stack Developer (WordPress Specialist), you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our WordPress websites. This includes customizing themes and plugins, integrating APIs, ensuring optimal performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will work independently during night shift hours, collaborating with U.S.-based teams and supporting business-critical digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites across multiple brands

Customize themes, templates, and plugins based on project requirements

Manage website updates, backups, and apply necessary security patches

Integrate third-party platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, SeekOut, VettedHealth) via APIs

Troubleshoot and resolve performance, layout, and functional issues

Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement UI/UX improvements

Ensure cross-browser and mobile responsiveness

Optimize sites for speed, SEO, and usability

Monitor website uptime and handle technical escalations during night shift hours

Must Have Skills
2–4 years of professional experience in WordPress development

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL

Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg

API integration experience using RESTful services

Familiarity with cPanel, FTP, DNS, and website migration

Understanding of on-page SEO and Google Analytics

Version control knowledge (Git)

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Ability to work independently during night shifts aligned with U.S. time zones

Nice to Have Skills
Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms

Familiarity with hosting providers like WP Engine, SiteGround, or Bluehost

Basic graphic editing using tools like Figma, Photoshop, or Canva

Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js

Knowledge of performance tools like GTmetrix or WP Rocket

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

Experience using WordPress security plugins like Wordfence or Sucuri

Experience managing multiple WordPress sites in an enterprise environment
