Role Description

MERN Stack Frontend Developer

React-based UI development

Responsibilities

• Develop

  responsive, pixel-perfect

  web interfaces using

  React, TailwindCSS, and shadcn/ui

• Build modular, reusable components and integrate them with

  REST APIs / GraphQL

• Collaborate with back-end developers to design seamless

  API contracts

• Work with

  Node.js & Express

  to create or enhance backend endpoints when required
• Use

  MongoDB / Mongoose

  to interact with and display structured data
• Implement authentication and role-based access control (RBAC) using frameworks like

  Better-Auth / JWT

• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Work with Git-based workflows (PR reviews, branching strategy)
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and contribute to architectural decisions

Technical Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React.js

  and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including hooks, context API, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux/Zustand)
• Solid understanding of

  Node.js, Express.js

  , and REST API integration
• Experience working with

  MongoDB

  and data modeling (Mongoose preferred)
• Familiarity with authentication, session management, and OAuth2 flows
• Knowledge of

  TypeScript

  (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack) and package managers (npm, pnpm, yarn)
• Proficiency with

  TailwindCSS / CSS-in-JS

  frameworks
• Understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment on platforms like

  Vercel / Render / Azure

• Good understanding of security best practices (CORS, CSRF, XSS prevention, etc.)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, agile team environment
• Effective communication skills, especially when collaborating with remote teams
