Front Desk Executive

to be the first point of contact at

Kanakia International School, Bhayander (IGCSE)

. The ideal candidate will manage the front office operations efficiently, provide excellent customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome parents, students, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Manage student/visitor entry and exit logs as per school policies.
  • Provide accurate information about school policies, procedures, events, and programs.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules for school leadership when required.
  • Assist in administrative support tasks such as photocopying, filing, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Handle correspondence (letters, circulars, notices) efficiently.
  • Support school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other front-desk requirements.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to school protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Office Administration, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in front desk / receptionist role, preferably in an educational institution.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer operations.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle pressure in a fast-paced school environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
