Job Description

Guest Handling & Check-In/Out

  • Warmly welcome all guests on arrival, ensuring smooth and efficient check-in/check-out using HotSoft PMS.
  • Accurately enter guest details, verify ID proof, and assign rooms as per reservation or availability.
  • Provide room keys and explain resort facilities, amenities, and policies.

Reservation & Booking Management

  • Handle direct reservations (walk-in/phone/email) and enter/update them in HotSoft.
  • Coordinate with the Sales & Marketing team for blocked/group bookings.
  • Modify or cancel bookings based on guest requests or availability.
  • Manage overbooking situations effectively Communication & Coordination
  • Attend calls courteously – handle inquiries, route calls, and take messages if needed.
  • Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness and guest requests.
  • Coordinate with the restaurant/F&B for guest preferences or special arrangements
  • HotSoft Software Specific Tasks
  • Daily opening and closing of front office cashier shifts using HotSoft.
  • Post charges: minibar, laundry, extra beds, etc.
  • Generate guest folios, invoices, and receipts.
  • Handle advance payments, settlements, refunds, and cancellations.
  • Monitor room status dashboard (clean, dirty, out of service).
  • Run night audit/end-of-day reports as per manager instructions.

Cashiering & Billing

  • Handle guest payments via cash/card/UPI and record accurately.
  • Maintain cash float and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
  • Assist guests with queries regarding billing and folios.

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain visitor records, registration cards, and necessary documentation.
  • Maintain front desk cleanliness and stock of stationery/forms.
  • Assist in daily reporting to the Front Office Manager or Operations Manager.

Guest Service & Complaint Handling

  • Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns or requests.
  • Provide local information and concierge services if required.
  • Escalate unresolved complaints to the Operations Manager promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
