Job Description

As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk. Your key duties will include managing staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences by coordinating with other departments. To excel in this role, you must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. In terms of staff management, you will be in charge of hiring, training, and supervising front desk staff. Additionally, you will schedule shifts, manage work assignments, evaluate employee performance, and provide constructive feedback to ensure the team operates efficiently. Your responsibilities will also extend to guest services, where you will greet and check in guests, address inquiries and complaints promptly, and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction. Moreover, you will manage day-to-day front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and maintaining accurate records of guest interactions and financial transactions. Administratively, you will handle tasks such as managing mail distribution, answering phones, redirecting calls, organizing files, updating records, and managing office supplies as needed. Furthermore, you will coordinate with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. In terms of revenue management, you will oversee reservation procedures, room allocations, rate management, and inventory control. Your goal will be to implement strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue for the establishment. Essential skills for this role include strong leadership, exceptional communication, excellent customer service, problem-solving, analytical thinking, organizational, time management, and technical proficiency with front desk software and reservation systems. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, and provident fund. The job requires availability for day, evening, and morning shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. Additionally, there is a performance bonus opportunity. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience as a Front Office Manager, and a total of 10 years of work experience. Proficiency in English and Hindi is required, while knowledge of Bengali and Assamese is preferred. Shift availability includes day shift, night shift, and overnight shift. The work location is in person, and candidates must be able to reliably commute to Tinsukia, Assam, or plan to relocate before starting work.,
