Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to assist in managing the daily operations of our hotel's front desk. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the hiring, training, and scheduling of front desk staff

• Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk by supervising daily activities

• Resolve guest issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor the performance of front desk staff and provide coaching when necessary

• Ensure that all team members follow established procedures for check-ins, check-outs, and other front desk functions

• Oversee the ordering and maintenance of front office supplies and equipment

• Monitor and maintain accurate records of room inventory and occupancy levels

• Communicate effectively with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Assist in the preparation and management of the front office budget

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in front desk management or a related role

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong leadership and team management abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
