Job Description

KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Contract Labour management System 1.) Preparation of budget on the basis of projected production plan. 2) Preparing CMS which will cover indenting, finalization of contract, appointment of contractors. Also for tonnage based work orders, helping user department to punch the indents as per production requirement. Allocation of indented quantity to concerned vendors for labour supply in respective departments. 3) Ensuring availability on daily basis. Monitoring the usage department wise as per approved budget. 4) Timely processing of bills and release of payment. 5) Timely compliance pertaining to Contract labour & Regulation Act, Minimum Wages Act & PF Act KRA2 Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and contractual obligations related to contract labor.
Monitor and maintain records of contractor licenses, registrations, and statutory documents Regularly audit contractor compliance with labor laws, including wage payments, working hours, and other legal requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions KRA3 Contractor Management: Develop and maintain a database of approved contractors and monitor their performance. Establish clear contract labor agreements, including terms and conditions, wages, and welfare measures. Regularly assess and evaluate contractor performance, adherence to labor laws, and compliance with safety and welfare regulations. Coordinate with procurement and legal teams to ensure appropriate contract management processes and due diligence for engaging contractors. KRA4 Employee Welfare: Develop and implement welfare measures and policies for contract laborers, ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry best practices. Collaborate with contractors to provide adequate accommodation, safety equipment, healthcare facilities, and other welfare benefits. Monitor and address issues related to the health, safety, and well-being of contract laborers. Conduct regular welfare audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. KRA5 Grievance Handling: Establish and maintain effective grievance handling mechanisms for contract laborers. Respond to grievances and disputes promptly and ensure fair and transparent resolution processes. Conduct investigations and mediate between parties to resolve conflicts and disputes Provide guidance and support to contract laborers on their rights, benefits, and grievance procedures. KRA6 Reporting and Documentation: Prepare accurate and timely reports on compliance, contractor performance, and welfare measures. Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to contract labor, including contracts, attendance, wages, and welfare provisions. Ensure proper recordkeeping and documentation in compliance with labor laws and organizational policies. Provide necessary reports and information to internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and auditors.
