Role Overview

Front-End UI Developer

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications.
• Build reusable UI components and front-end libraries.
• Collaborate with UX designers to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
• Integrate front-end components with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Modernize legacy user interfaces for enhanced usability and aesthetics.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and suggest improvements.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce front-end best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs and performance issues.
• Document development workflows and provide team support.
  

Must-Have Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in front-end/UI development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks/libraries, especially Angular.
• Proven ability to build and maintain reusable UI components.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services and SOA architecture.
• Understanding of relational databases and backend data interactions.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  

Nice To Have

• Experience modernizing legacy UIs.
• Exposure to or hands-on experience with React.js.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm, Yarn).
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, LESS).
• Understanding of testing frameworks/tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong grasp of UX design principles.
