Job Description

  • Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Perform Front end Sales in Heat Exchanger market independently.
  • Ensure OI Targets are achieved with an Order Intake of >Rs. 15 Cr
  • Has to lead the process from enquiry initiation or enquiry generation, client engagement, discussions with consultant / client, final negotiations towards order closure
  • Has to network with clients, engineering consultants, EPC companies in the respective region
  • Initiate the process of getting certified as approved vendor by Consultants, Private Customers, Government Agencies
  • knowledge about technical tendering of heat exchanger
  • Increase market share of product in the respective region
  • Establish an analytical screening process for the project enquiry in the region
  • Ensure timely Collection of payment from Clients and Accounts Reconciliation
  • Interface continuously and smoothly with internal company functions
  • Project review with Cross-functional teams.
  • Occasionally visiting Customer site to understand the customer requirements.
  • Maintain customer relationship
  • Preparation of Weekly & Monthly reports for management review
  • Support the annual Budget preparation for Order Intake
  • Maintain Travel budget
  • Good team player
  • Support for account receivables.
  • Maintain accuracy of Order Intake forecasting target

  • Competencies

  • Ability to communicate articulately and quickly - both written and spoken English
  • Adequate Technical and Commercial Knowledge of the business
  • Very good coordination, organized and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
  • Ability to manage customer.
  • Ability to analyze information and develop strategies
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills are required
  • Technical interest and flair is preferred
  • Self-motivated and target driven - proactive and enthusiastic with good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership
  • Work experience in transportation, heavy & light Industry
  • 10-12 days in a month travelling for business purpose
  • Experience & Skills

Essential

  • At least 8-10 years related experience in Front End Sales of which minimum 5 years of experience in either Heat Transfer Equipment
  • Adequate Commercial Knowledge

Desirable

  • Handled > 10-12 Cr business order intake volume annually for at least 2 to 3 years
  • Relevant experience and proven track record Sales/Marketing

  • Engineering Degree
  • Ability to continuously drive and lead change in the respective organizations – across BUs, functions and cultures
  • Ability to enhance customer satisfaction through dialogue, communication, transparency and integration – you know how to establish and develop successful relations with customers (Externally and Internally)
  • Exposure to multi-culture and international organizations is preferred
