Pratt and Whitney (PW) have an opening for a Senior Front-End Developer Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced UI/UX Developer with a strong foundation in front-end technologies and a passion for creating seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including Node.js), and Angular framework development. Experience with identity provider platforms and cloud services is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build client and server-side applications using JavaScript and Node.js. Design, develop, and optimize Angular applications. Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver intuitive user experiences with Figma. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Work within Agile development environments, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends. Preferred Skills: Experience with Identity Provider platforms such as Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Okta, or similar. Familiarity with Azure Cloud platform and its services. Knowledge of Authentication Protocols including OAuth/OIDC, SAML, HTTP Header, JWT, and Proxy-Based Authentication solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular framework. Experience with Node.js for server-side development. Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience working in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
