Freight Manager (Business Development)

Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager at Flomic, your main responsibility will be to drive new business development and establish strong client relationships for Ocean Freight & Air Freight services. You will play a crucial role in generating business, achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will utilize your local market knowledge to identify key customers, competitors, and suppliers. Travelling within the assigned territory for customer visits and participating in industry events will be integral parts of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new business opportunities and maintain client satisfaction. - Plan and implement new marketing initiatives. - Generate business and meet sales targets according to the sales plan. - Identify key customers, competitors, and suppliers using your local market knowledge. - Address customer grievances promptly and enhance customer value. - Travel to different areas for customer visits within the assigned territory. - Participate in conferences, meetings, and industry events. - Create quotes and proposals for clients. - Set development team goals, ensure business growth, and provide necessary training and support to team members.
