Our Client, a smart logistics and IoT solutions company, is looking to engage with a Senior Hardware (IoT) Expert with experience to support in product design and development . Past experience working with similar industries in the European market.
-Provide strategic and technical guidance throughout the hardware product development lifecycle
-Lead or support efforts in hardware architecture, component selection, and system integration
-Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams during design, prototyping, and testing phases
-Review and advise on certification requirements for European markets (CE, EMC, safety compliance, etc.)
-Assist in vendor evaluation, coordination, and support decisions on manufacturing readiness
-Provide insights on scalability, robustness, and cost-efficiency of hardware solutions
-Ensure alignment between mechanical, electrical, and firmware aspects of product development
-Support documentation, validation, and QA processes as needed.
Duration: 3 months
Capacity: Part time (Few hours or days a week)
Location: Remote
- 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a track record of end-to-end product delivery
-Strong background in IoT devices, smart systems, automation, or connected consumer products
-Proven leadership in cross-functional hardware teams from design to market launch
-Experience with certifications and regulatory standards for hardware in the European market
-Comfortable working in a consulting or advisory capacity, part-time or fractional
-Strong communicator, capable of working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams
