Role Overview

Software Architect

This is a key leadership position that requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document system architecture that aligns with business goals and product requirements
• Define and recommend technology stacks, infrastructure strategies, and integration approaches
• Translate high-level functional requirements into technical architecture and development plans
• Lead architecture reviews, define coding standards, and ensure system quality and performance
• Provide technical guidance to development teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers
• Identify architectural risks and implement mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in software development and architectural design
• Expertise in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go
• Proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native architectures
• Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful and event-driven APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience with high-availability, scalable systems, and secure application design
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers, designers, and testers on end-to-end product delivery
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Manage daily workflows, sprint planning, and progress tracking
• Conduct technical reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Resolve blockers, mitigate risks, and maintain project momentum
• Ensure delivery excellence in both performance and communication

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in software development and technical project leadership
• Proven experience leading cross-functional remote teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
• Technical proficiency in at least one backend or frontend framework (e.g., Node.js, React, Python, Java)
• Ability to balance technical depth with delivery focus

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, Notion)
• Version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• Comfort with product development lifecycles from MVP to scale
• Prior experience working with startups or fast-paced product teams
