Role Description

SAP FI/CO Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a functional expert for SAP FI, CO, and Profitability Analysis modules
• Analyze existing financial processes and recommend system improvements
• Configure and customize SAP FI/CO to align with business requirements
• Gather and document functional requirements for enhancements and change requests
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day SAP FI/CO production issues
• Provide functional support on Product Costing, Financial Accounting, and Controlling flows
• Write and execute Unit, UAT, and Regression test cases
• Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and user SOPs
• Support rollout, deployment, and continuous improvement projects
• Work with cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, IT, and PMO
• Provide expert guidance on SAP functionality, best practices, and solution approaches

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI, CO, and PA configuration
• Experience with Product Costing and standard cost flows
• Ability to debug basic ABAP code to support functional troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and propose solutions
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with business and technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and deliver under tight timelines
• Strong documentation and testing skills

Qualifications

• Minimum

  5 years of SAP FI/CO experience

• Experience with

  SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA FI/CO

• Participated in at least

  one full-cycle SAP implementation

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• SAP FI/CO Certification is a plus but not mandatory
