Position: Forgeshop Incharge. Education: BE/DME/B. tech Experience: 15 Years in Forging. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Oversee the forging process, from material preparation to finished product, ensuring adherence to specifications and production schedules. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures, including regular inspections and testing of forged parts to meet required standards. Personnel Management: Supervise and train forging operators and technicians, addressing any issues and providing guidance to improve performance. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of forging equipment, including furnaces, hammers, presses, and other machinery. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and procedures, providing training to staff and ensuring a safe working environment. Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineers and other departments to identify and implement improvements in forging processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production, quality control, and maintenance activities. Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of forging processes, metallurgy, and manufacturing equipment. Leadership and Supervision: Ability to motivate and manage a team of forging operators and technicians. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to forging operations. Quality Control: Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards. Safety Awareness: Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Record Keeping and Documentation: Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
