Food Technologist

As a Food Technologist at our company, your role will involve promoting and selling food processing equipment. You will need to understand client requirements to suggest suitable machinery solutions and conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and trials for clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial offers while liaising with the technical/engineering team for customization and installation support. Qualifications required for this position include a B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field. The ideal candidate should have at least 13 years of experience in the food processing industry or machinery sales. However, freshers with strong technical knowledge are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: - Promote and sell food processing equipment - Understand client requirements and suggest suitable machinery solutions - Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and trials for clients - Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and techno-commercial offers - Liaise with the technical/engineering team for customization and installation support Desired Candidate Profile: - Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field - Experience: 13 years in food processing industry or machinery sales (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply) Skills required for this role include a strong technical understanding of food processing operations, good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, willingness to travel for client meetings, demos, and exhibitions, as well as the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
