Job Description

Role & responsibilities

ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and smooth operations, particularly in the dining and kitchen areas

Guest Service:
Greeting guests, seating them, and providing basic information about the menu or restaurant.
Table Maintenance:
Setting tables with appropriate tableware, cutlery, and linens, and clearing tables after guests leave.
Stocking and Supplies:
Ensuring tables and service stations are adequately stocked with necessary items like condiments, napkins, and utensils.

In the Kitchen:

Cleaning:
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning equipment, floors, and waste disposal.
Inventory Management:
Managing supplies like cleaning agents, paper products, and other essential items.
Assisting Kitchen Staff:
Helping with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables or plating dishes.

General Responsibilities:

Following Safety and Sanitation Procedures:
Adhering to hygiene and safety standards to prevent contamination and ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Assisting Other Staff:
Providing support to servers, bartenders, and other team members.
Addressing Guest Issues:
Resolving minor guest complaints or requests, or escalating issues to management when necessary.
Maintaining a Positive Attitude:
Being friendly, courteous, and professional in interactions with guests and colleagues.
