Job Opportunity: Sales Officer (SO) Location: Odisha, Bhubaneswar Salary Up to 3.6 LPA Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head Job Summary We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our Sales & Marketing team in the packaged drinking water industry. The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving product sales, expanding distribution networks, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets for packaged drinking water and premium alkaline water products. Key Responsibilities Identify, approach, and onboard new retailers, distributors, HoReCa clients (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés), offices, and institutions. Promote the company’s full range of bottled water products (mineral water, alkaline water) and ensure product visibility across retail and institutional spaces. Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and report activity to the Sales Manager. Monitor stock availability, coordinate with the supply chain team, and ensure timely deliveries. Conduct regular market visits to track performance, competitor activity, pricing, and brand positioning. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat sales and brand loyalty. Execute trade promotions, in-shop branding, and sampling activities to enhance brand awareness. Collect and share market feedback to support marketing and product development. Maintain accurate documentation (order forms, delivery notes, payment receipts, customer records). Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 1–3 years of sales experience in FMCG or the beverage industry (experience in bottled water preferred). Strong network of retail and distribution contacts in the region is an advantage. Willingness to travel within the territory (and relocate if required). Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred.
